This summer reading camp is designed specifically for advanced readers entering 3rd and 4th grade who are ready for deeper challenges! We’ll read and explore an engaging novel while diving into higher-level comprehension skills. Our focus will be on making inferences, synthesizing information, analyzing character perspectives, and understanding figurative language. We’ll also work on breaking down and defining multisyllabic words to build vocabulary and tackle more complex texts. Through thought-provoking discussions and activities, students will sharpen their critical thinking and grow into more confident, insightful readers.
