 Digging Into Graphic Novels as a Form of Storytelling    

Throughout this course, students will be introduced to graphic novels and how this can be an exciting form of literature that contains many of the same story elements of a traditional book. Students will learn skills for how to read a graphic novel, as well as identify themes and other elements as they read. I would like to do one fictional graphic novels and one non-fiction graphic novel. During this time, students will also create their own short graphic novel incorporating many of the skills we have studied throughout the camp.
