Rising 7-8

Participants will collaborate with team members to engineer and construct a variety of towers.  Each tower focuses on an important aspect of building– structure, height, and stability.  The final project will challenge student teams to apply what they’ve learned to create a roller coaster.  On the final day of class each team is given the opportunity to celebrate with time trials rolling marbles down their coasters.
