Learn to crochet, or hone your skills. This STEAM activity is perfect for beginners and experienced crocheters. We will begin by making a small stuffed animal from a crochet kit. Then, we will learn how to make "plarn" from plastic grocery bags to create a beautiful tote bag. After that, the choice is yours. You will have the skills needed to start you on your way to make anything you want! You will leave class with your projects, your crochet tools, and a very satisfying hobby. (Note to grownups- crochet uses math skills, builds frustration tolerance and confidence, teaches perseverence, instills pride, improves fine motor skills, and it's practically impossible to scroll on a phone while crocheting.)
